GO-MAD.AI Expands Its Free Healthcare Services Globally In Light of the Novel Coronavirus Emergency, COVID-19

On Thursday, 30 January 2020, the World Health Organization declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) regarding the outbreak of COVID-19.

On 11 March 2020, WHO characterized  it as a pandemic and this is the first pandemic caused by a coronavirus.

The COVID-19 has infected more than 182,400 people and killed over 7,100 worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University. The number of deaths outside China have now surpassed those inside.

Millions are under lockdown in Europe as some Asian countries close schools and non-essential businesses, and curb travel.

We noted that on a preventive perspective, we might not be covering it comprehensively, as we can see people are only focusing on the first line of defense – protective equipment, mask and hygiene.

With current developments, we opine to focus on second line of defense – the body’s immune system boosting. We strongly believe that our immunity plays an important role even in the treatment phase.

We guide public to have a daily balance diet to build and maintain a strong healthy immunity. We leverage on our existing initiative that is a layman guidance, similar to the Michelin Star Guide, for the public to make healthier food selections to enhance body’s immunity especially for this critical period.

A global coordinated effort is needed to combat the outbreak and GO-MAD.AI is seeking out universal volunteers specialising in Nutrition to aid the global community who needs our expertise and support. Collaboration with other digital healthcare companies and partners to provide complimentary support is also urgently required in view of this rapidly evolving situation.
